Last updated: 2 July, 2026
This Recruiter Code of Conduct applies to all recruiters, employers, companies, hiring managers, talent acquisition teams, executive search firms, staffing firms, consultants, partners, and approved hiring users who access or use Korum, a platform operated by Worldhire Global Ltd.
This Code should be read together with our Terms of Use, Privacy Policy, Recruiter Terms, Candidate Consent Policy, Confidentiality & Consent Policy, Cookie Policy, Payments & Billing Policy, Data Retention & Deletion Policy, and any separate agreement, order form, subscription plan, or commercial terms agreed with Worldhire Global Ltd.
By requesting access to or using Korum as a recruiter, employer, company, hiring manager, or approved hiring user, you agree to follow this Recruiter Code of Conduct.
1. Purpose of This Code
Korum is designed to help trusted recruiters and companies discover and engage experienced professionals in a controlled, respectful, and privacy-aware environment.
This Code exists to protect:
- Professionals and candidates
- Recruiters and employers
- Confidential hiring workflows
- Candidate consent
- Profile visibility choices
- Platform integrity
- Employer brand reputation
- The trust model of Korum
- Recruiter access to Korum is a privilege, not an automatic right.
- Worldhire may approve, restrict, suspend, or terminate recruiter access where required to protect professionals, platform integrity, data security, confidentiality, compliance, or business trust.
2. Core Principles
All recruiters, employers, companies, and approved hiring users must follow these principles:
- Use Korum only for legitimate hiring purposes.
- Respect candidate visibility choices.
- Use candidate data only for relevant recruitment, hiring, executive search, staffing, or talent acquisition activity.
- Do not misuse, scrape, export, resell, or commercially exploit candidate data.
- Do not contact a professional’s current employer without explicit consent.
- Do not bypass reach-out / connection, consent, access request, or consent-led access workflows.
- Represent roles, companies, salaries, locations, and hiring authority honestly.
- Treat professionals with confidentiality and respect.
- Comply with applicable privacy, data protection, employment, anti-discrimination, communication, and hiring laws.
- Report suspected misuse, breach, or unauthorised access promptly.
3. Recruiter Access and Verification
Recruiter access is subject to verification and approval by Worldhire.
Worldhire may review information such as:
- Name
- Work email
- Company name
- Company website
- Company domain
- Company registration country
- Recruiter location
- Countries hired for
- Recruiter LinkedIn profile
- Company LinkedIn page
- Type of organisation
- Platform usage behaviour
- Security risk signals
- Sanctions or restricted-market risk
- Payment or billing status where applicable
- Worldhire may use automated, manual, or hybrid checks to approve, restrict, or review access.
- A recruiter may initially receive limited access. Higher access levels, reach-out / connection access, consent-led access, team access, or higher usage limits may require additional verification, billing details, company confirmation, or manual review.
- Worldhire may refuse, restrict, suspend, or terminate access if verification fails, information appears inaccurate, usage appears suspicious, or the account creates legal, security, compliance, confidentiality, or misuse risk.
4. Authorised Hiring Purpose
You may use Korum only for genuine hiring, recruitment, executive search, staffing, talent discovery, workforce planning, or approved business purposes.
Every search, profile view, reach-out / connection action, access request, shortlist, or candidate communication must be connected to a legitimate hiring purpose.
You must not use Korum for:
- Spam
- Unrelated marketing
- Sales prospecting
- Resume database building
- Candidate resale
- Data harvesting
- Competitor intelligence
- Surveillance
- Harassment
- Discrimination
- Unauthorised profiling
- Training external AI systems
- Any unlawful or unauthorised purpose
5. Profile Visibility Modes
Korum supports two main professional visibility modes:
- Discoverable Mode
- Confidential Mode
- You must understand and respect the difference between these modes.
6. Discoverable Mode Rules
Discoverable Mode is for professionals who want their profile to be discoverable by verified or approved recruiters, employers, companies, and hiring partners on Korum.
In Discoverable Mode, a professional’s profile information may be visible inside Korum.
This may include:
- Name
- Professional summary
- Work experience
- Current and previous roles
- Current and previous employers
- Education
- Skills
- Industry
- Function
- Location
- Notice period
- Salary or compensation range where provided
- Expected compensation range where provided
- CV/resume where uploaded or enabled
- Career preferences
- Availability status
- Other professional profile details submitted by the professional
- Direct contact details, such as phone number and email address, are hidden by default.
- You may message a Discoverable professional through Korum’s in-app connection workflow at no credit cost; messaging does not by itself disclose contact details.
- You may access direct contact details (email address and phone number) only through Korum’s paid contact-reveal feature where permitted. Contact reveal involves a one-time credit charge; once used, that access remains available to you. Contact reveal is not available where the professional has enabled do-not-contact, and is never available for Confidential Mode profiles.
- Discoverable Mode does not mean candidate information is public, unrestricted, downloadable, reusable, transferable, or available for resale.
- You must use Discoverable Mode information only for legitimate hiring purposes.
7. reach-out / connection Function Rules
reach-out / connection is a controlled Korum function.
In Discoverable Mode, messaging through reach-out / connection is free of credits, and approved hiring users may access direct contact details such as phone number or email address only through Korum’s paid contact-reveal feature (a one-time credit charge; not available where the professional has enabled do-not-contact, and never available for Confidential Mode profiles).
By using reach-out / connection, you confirm that:
- You have a genuine hiring purpose.
- The professional is relevant to a real opportunity, mandate, or approved search.
- You will use contact obtained only for hiring-related communication.
- You will not share contact obtained with unauthorised persons.
- You will not use information obtained for marketing, resale, spam, database building, or unrelated outreach.
- You will not contact the professional’s current employer.
- You will not transfer information obtained to unauthorised countries, systems, tools, clients, vendors, or third parties.
- You understand that reach-out / connection activity may be logged, monitored, reviewed, and retained.
- Worldhire may limit, monitor, suspend, or terminate reach-out / connection access if misuse is suspected.
- reach-out / connection access may be subject to usage limits, account tier, verification status, payment status, geography, role relevance, or platform risk controls.
8. Confidential Mode Rules
Confidential Mode is for professionals who are not publicly applying, are selectively open to opportunities, or require stronger confidentiality.
In this mode, a profile may be masked, limited, or partially visible.
Information such as identity, direct contact details, current employer, CV/resume, salary information, and other sensitive details may remain hidden unless the professional approves access or completes a consent-led connection workflow.
You must not:
- Attempt to identify a Confidential professional without approval
- Use external research to uncover a masked identity
- Guess and contact the professional outside Korum
- Contact the professional’s employer, colleagues, manager, HR team, references, or workplace contacts
- Share masked profile information with others to identify the person
- Bypass consent-led access workflows
- Pressure the professional to disclose information
- Misrepresent a role, company, client, salary, or hiring authority to secure access
- Any attempt to bypass Confidential controls may result in immediate restriction, suspension, or termination of access.
9. Access Request Standards
Where an access request is required, you must provide accurate and genuine information.
An access request may require:

- Salary or compensation range
- Seniority level
- Reason for access
- Confidentiality requirement
- Consent-led access requirement, if applicable
- You must not submit fake, speculative, vague, misleading, inflated, or deceptive access requests.
- Professionals may approve, reject, pause, or request more information.
- Worldhire does not guarantee that any access request will be approved.
10. Consent-Led Access and Confidentiality Conduct
Where consent-led access applies, you must comply with the consent-led access terms and all related confidentiality requirements.
You must not disclose consent-protected information to unauthorised persons.
You must not use confidential information for any purpose other than the specific hiring discussion or opportunity for which it was shared.
Unless Worldhire Global Ltd is expressly named as a party to a specific consent-led access agreement, Worldhire acts only as a platform facilitator and is not responsible for enforcing the consent-led access agreement between users.
If you breach a consent-led access agreement, confidentiality obligation, consent condition, or access rule, you are responsible for your own breach and any resulting claims, losses, liabilities, damages, or consequences.
Worldhire may restrict, suspend, or terminate your access where consent-led access breach or confidentiality misuse is reported or suspected.

- Global discovery on Korum does not mean unrestricted global use, copying, export, transfer, storage, or onward sharing of candidate data.
13. Unsupported Jurisdictions and Security Controls
Recruiter access to Korum is available only in selected markets and is subject to approval.
You must not attempt to access Korum from an unsupported jurisdiction, sanctioned location, restricted location, or through misleading technical means.
