3. Our Privacy and Visibility Position

Korum is not designed as an open public resume database.

Profile visibility depends on the mode selected by the professional.

Discoverable Mode

In Discoverable Mode, your professional profile is visible within Korum to verified or approved recruiters, employers, companies, and hiring partners.

This may include your name, professional experience, current and previous roles, employer information, education, skills, industry, location, notice period, salary or compensation range where provided, CV/resume where uploaded or enabled, career preferences, and other professional profile details.

Your direct contact details, such as phone number and email address, are hidden by default.

A verified or approved recruiter may message you through Korum’s in-app connection workflow at no credit cost. A verified or approved recruiter may access your direct contact details (email address and phone number) only by using Korum’s paid contact-reveal feature, which involves a one-time credit charge; once used, that access remains available to that recruiter. Contact reveal is not available where you have enabled do-not-contact. By selecting Discoverable Mode, you consent to this controlled connection and contact-reveal workflow.

Discoverable Mode does not mean your profile is publicly available on the open internet. It means your profile is visible inside controlled Korum workflows to verified or approved hiring users.

Confidential Mode

In Confidential Mode, your profile may be masked, limited, or partially visible.

Your identity, current employer, contact details, CV/resume, and other sensitive information may remain hidden unless you approve access or complete a consent-led connection workflow.

Recruiters may need to request access. You may approve, reject, pause, or require consent-led access before deeper disclosure.
