6. Types of Cookies We Use
Worldhire may use the following categories of cookies.
7. Strictly Necessary Cookies
Strictly necessary cookies are required for the website or platform to work properly.
These cookies may be used for:
- Account login
- Session management
- Security
- Authentication
- Fraud prevention
- Load balancing
- Cookie consent management
- Form submission
- Payment security
- Platform access control
- Protection against bots, scraping, and misuse
- These cookies are necessary to provide the service requested by the user and cannot usually be switched off through our cookie preference tool.
- You may be able to block these cookies through your browser settings, but some parts of the website or platform may not work properly if you do so.
8. Preference Cookies
Preference cookies help remember choices you make.
These may include:
- Language preference
- Region preference
- Cookie preference
- Display preference
- Dashboard preference
- Saved settings
- Form preferences
- Preference cookies may improve user experience but may not always be strictly necessary.
- Where required, we may ask for consent before using preference cookies.
9. Analytics Cookies
Worldhire does not currently set analytics cookies. We do not use any third-party analytics service (such as Google Analytics) and do not load analytics tracking technologies on our website or platform.
This category exists as part of our cookie-consent framework so that, if we ever introduce analytics in future, it would only be activated with your consent. If we did use analytics cookies, they could help us understand:
- Pages visited
- Time spent on pages
- Traffic sources
- Device and browser type
- User journeys
- Feature usage
- Error patterns
- Website performance
- General product usage
- Analytics cookies are not strictly necessary and would only be used where consent is provided, unless a specific analytics setup qualifies for a lawful exemption under applicable law.
- See the cookie list in section 22 for the cookies we actually set today.
10. Marketing and Advertising Cookies
Worldhire does not currently set marketing, advertising, or retargeting cookies. We do not use advertising networks, marketing-measurement vendors, or retargeting providers, and we do not show ads on our website or platform.
This category exists as part of our cookie-consent framework so that, if we ever introduce marketing or advertising technologies in future, they would only be activated with your consent. If we did use such cookies, they could help us:
- Measure advertising performance
- Understand campaign effectiveness
- Track referral sources
- Avoid showing repeated ads
- Support retargeting where permitted
- Understand interest in Korum, Select, or Sphere services
- Marketing and advertising cookies are not strictly necessary and would require consent where applicable.
11. Security, Fraud Prevention, and Abuse-Prevention Technologies
Worldhire may use security technologies to protect users, professionals, recruiters, companies, and the platform.
These may help detect or prevent:
- Unauthorised access
- Fake accounts
- Bot activity
- Scraping
- Credential abuse
- Suspicious login attempts
- VPN or proxy abuse
- Rate-limit abuse
- Spam
- Fraud
- Misuse of the connection workflow
- Abuse of recruiter access
- Unauthorised automated extraction
- Some security technologies may be strictly necessary for platform protection. Others may require consent depending on their purpose and implementation.
12. Payment and Billing Cookies
Where users make payments or manage billing, cookies or similar technologies may be used by payment processors, banks, fraud-prevention services, or payment gateways.
These may support:
- Secure payment processing
- Fraud prevention
- Payment authentication
- Transaction completion
- Payment error handling
- Billing session continuity
- Payment-related cookies may be set by third-party payment providers.
- Your use of a third-party payment provider may also be subject to that provider’s own cookie policy, privacy policy, and terms.
13. Third-Party Cookies
The only third-party cookies that may be set today are strictly-necessary payment cookies set by our payment providers (Stripe outside India, Razorpay in India) on their hosted payment pages. We do not set third-party analytics, advertising, marketing, error-monitoring, customer-support, or document/consent-led-access-workflow cookies. Support is handled in-app, and consent-led access acceptance uses an in-app scroll-to-accept and typed-name signature, not a third-party document-workflow provider.
Where a payment cookie is set:
- It is controlled by the relevant payment provider and used to support secure payment processing and fraud prevention.
- The payment provider may process information according to its own cookie policy, privacy policy, and terms.
If we introduce any non-essential third-party cookies in future, they will be listed in section 22 and will load only after you give consent.
14. Cookies on Korum
Korum may use cookies and similar technologies to support:
- Professional account access
- Recruiter account access
- Company account access
- Session security
- MFA or authentication support
- Recruiter verification
- Profile visibility controls
- reach-out / connection controls
- Access request workflows
- Consent-led access workflows
- Candidate consent records
- Security monitoring
- Abuse prevention
- Product analytics where permitted
- Platform performance and troubleshooting
- Korum may also log certain platform activities separately from cookies, as described in our Privacy Policy and Data Retention & Deletion Policy.
15. Cookies and Personal Information
Some cookies may collect or relate to personal information.
This may include:
- IP address
- Device information
- Browser information
- Login status
- Account identifier
- Session activity
- Usage activity
- Referral source
- Consent preference
- Security signals
- Approximate location derived from IP address
- Where cookie information is personal information, it will be handled according to our Privacy Policy.
16. Cookie Consent
When required, Worldhire will request your consent before using non-essential cookies.
Non-essential cookies may include:
- Analytics cookies
- Marketing cookies
- Advertising cookies
- Retargeting cookies
- Some preference cookies

When you first visit our website, you may see a cookie banner or preference tool allowing you to:
- Accept all cookies
- Reject non-essential cookies
- Manage cookie preferences
- You can change your cookie preferences at any time through the cookie settings tool where available.
17. Cookie Banner
Our cookie banner may include options such as:
- Accept All
- Reject Non-Essential

- Where non-essential cookies require consent, they should not be set before consent is given.

18. Managing Cookie Preferences
You can manage cookie preferences by:
- Using our cookie preference tool where available
- Clicking “Cookie Settings” on the website where available
- Changing browser settings
- Clearing cookies from your browser
- Blocking cookies through browser controls
- Using device-level privacy settings where available

19. Browser Controls
Most browsers allow users to:
- View cookies
- Delete cookies
- Block cookies
- Block third-party cookies
- Receive alerts before cookies are placed
- Clear browser storage
- Manage tracking preferences
- Browser controls vary by browser and device.
- You should refer to your browser’s help section for specific instructions.
20. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Signals
Some browsers may offer “Do Not Track” or similar privacy signals.
Because there is no consistent industry standard for responding to all browser-based tracking signals, Worldhire may not respond to every such signal in the same way.
Where legally required or technically supported, Worldhire may recognise certain privacy preference signals or provide other ways to manage cookie preferences.
21. Cookie Duration
Cookies may be session cookies or persistent cookies.
Session cookies are usually deleted when you close your browser.
Persistent cookies remain on your device for a set period or until you delete them.
Cookie duration may vary depending on:
- Cookie type
- Purpose
- Provider
- Browser settings
- Consent choice
- Security requirement
- Platform configuration
- We aim to retain cookies only for as long as reasonably necessary for the relevant purpose.
22. Cookie List
Worldhire may maintain a list of cookies used on its website and platform.
Worldhire currently uses only the strictly-necessary, first-party cookies and browser storage listed below. We do not use analytics, advertising, marketing, retargeting, or other non-essential third-party cookies. This may happen when we:
- Improve the website
- Add platform features
- Change providers
- Improve security
- Add analytics tools
- Change marketing tools
- Improve account functionality
- Update Korum, Select, or Sphere services
- Meet legal, security, or operational requirements

24. Cookies and Children
Our services are not intended for children or individuals under the age of 18.
We do not knowingly use cookies to profile children.
If we become aware that a child has used our platform in breach of our policies, we may take steps to delete or restrict related information.
