Why Korum exists
Korum is being built for a simple reason: many senior and specialist professionals are open to the right opportunity, but they do not want unnecessary public exposure. At the same time, recruiters and companies need a more trusted way to discover relevant, serious, and opportunity-aligned talent.
Together, they make serious talent discovery

Our journey
Global search, expansion, disruption, recovery, team building, partner development, and product evolution: the path that led to KORUM.
Worldhire relaunched with a clearer structure, stronger international presence, and a broader ambition, now built around three connected parts. This relaunch marks the transition from a global hiring services company to a platform-led talent ecosystem combining direct presence, partner reach, search expertise, and technology.
A controlled talent discovery platform for experienced professionals, recruiters, and companies.
A recruitment technology layer for structured hiring workflows, professional management, recruiter productivity, and process visibility.
Worldhire's consulting and advisory-led search practice for senior, specialist, confidential, and business-critical hiring mandates.
Worldhire had seen the limitations of traditional models closely. Job boards created volume but not relevance, professional networks were public and crowded, databases were fragmented, and confidential career movement remained difficult. KORUM was imagined as a controlled talent discovery platform where experienced professionals could become discoverable for relevant opportunities without losing control over their identity, privacy, or visibility. Sphere was shaped as a recruitment technology layer for structured hiring workflows.
As international work expanded, Worldhire strengthened its model through offices in the UK, US, and India, supported by 8 partner offices across key markets. This improved local market access, professional reach, hiring intelligence, and regional execution. Global hiring works best when structured search is supported by trusted local insight.
Worldhire strengthened its global search and recruitment capability across leadership hiring, specialist recruitment, permanent and contract mandates, and talent advisory. This period exposed several consistent challenges in the hiring market:
- Strong professionals are often not visible on job boards
- Senior professionals value confidentiality
- Recruiters often work with incomplete or outdated information
- Companies struggle to reach passive and specialist talent
- Public career movement does not work for every professional
- Hiring quality depends on timing, trust, context, and relevance
Worldhire began building a larger delivery team across search, recruitment, research, client delivery, and operations, moving from individual mandate execution to a structured delivery engine capable of supporting complex mandates across regions.
Momentum returned. New clients came in, mandates restarted, and international hiring recovered, with search coverage expanding to nearly 30 countries. This reinforced a key belief: global hiring was not a temporary trend, but a permanent requirement for companies looking beyond local talent pools.
The business formally became Worldhire, reflecting a core belief: hiring should not be restricted by geography. The same year, the pandemic disrupted global hiring. The Malaysia office was closed and the business went through a reset. The idea remained intact, and Worldhire rebuilt with more focus, sharper discipline, and a clearer understanding of what sustainable global hiring demands.
Worldhire opened an office in Malaysia as part of its regional expansion, an important step toward international presence and serving clients across Asia Pacific. It was also a learning phase: building across borders requires ambition, but also local understanding, operating discipline, cost control, and resilience.
After the first mandate, Worldhire started supporting hiring conversations across 12 countries, learning how different talent markets behave, from compensation and notice periods to relocation, communication, culture, and professional motivation.
Worldhire's journey began with a cross-border search mandate: hiring a department head in Toronto, Canada, for a large organization. Global hiring was still viewed with hesitation: questions around market access, professional trust, local context, and whether senior professionals would engage meaningfully across borders. A focused team across India and Canada mapped the market, engaged senior professionals directly, and delivered within two months. That assignment shaped our foundation. Global hiring requires more than database access; it needs context, credibility, discipline, and execution.
