Clear Guidelines on Cancelling Services and Requesting Refunds

Cancellation & Refund Policy

At Worldhire, we are committed to delivering exceptional recruitment, staffing, and offshore resourcing services. We understand that business needs can evolve, and this policy outlines the terms for cancellation, rescheduling, and termination of our services.


1. Recruitment Services (Retained / Exclusive / Contingent)

  • Before Search BeginsIf the engagement is canceled before any search activity starts, no charges will apply. A nominal administrative fee may be deducted in some custom contracts.
  • After Search InitiationIf cancellation occurs after candidate outreach, screening, or sourcing has begun, up to 50% of the agreed fee will be retained to compensate for invested time and resources.
  • After Shortlist DeliveryOnce a candidate shortlist has been shared with the client, the full fee for that milestone becomes non-refundable.

2. Contract Staffing & Offshore Resourcing

  • Standard Notice PeriodA minimum of 30 calendar days’ written notice is required to terminate any ongoing staffing or resourcing engagement.
  • Immediate TerminationIn the case of breach of contract, misconduct, or payment default, Worldhire reserves the right to terminate services with immediate effect and invoice for the current billing cycle.
  • Volume-Based Discount AgreementsIf a volume-based staffing agreement is terminated early, previously applied discounts may be reversed, and billing will be adjusted to standard rates.

3. Project-Based Engagements (RPO, Employer Branding, Research Projects)

  • Pre-Project CancellationProjects canceled within 7 calendar days of agreement signing, and where no work has started, will not incur charges.
  • Mid-Project CancellationProjects canceled after commencement will be billed pro-rata, based on the stage of delivery and work completed.

4. Client-Initiated Delays or Pauses

If a client delays decision-making or pauses a project for more than 14 calendar days:

  • Resources may be paused or reallocated.
  • Worldhire may invoice for completed work to date or retain a credit toward future use.

5. Refunds & Credits

  • Where eligible, refunds are processed within 30 business days of confirmation.
  • In most cases, service credits are preferred and offered against future hiring or staffing engagements.

6. Custom Terms for Enterprise Clients

Clients operating under a Master Service Agreement (MSA) may be subject to tailored cancellation clauses as explicitly outlined in their individual contracts.
